We were approached by Bliss Home in late 2010.
The brief was to create a charming homewares range based on the theme of animals, we thought Bliss in the Woods was quite an apt name.
We chose woodland as a theme as we wanted to make it intrinsically British. Woodland animals have a natural charm about them and this allowed us to add a touch of eccentricity to the range. We love the idea of pouring our tea from the beak of the bird teapot served on a bluebell tray.
The whole process has been really rewarding from developing the product ideas, seeing the prototypes develop to designing the packaging.
We wanted to develop a range that would age well, adding charm as it is used time after time giving it a story of its own.
